Anti-Histamine Juice Recipe

A natural remedy for managing excess histamine in your body—when your “histamine bucket” is overflowing—is by making this fresh juice with a cold press juicer. It significantly alleviates many symptoms, particularly nasal congestion, fatigue and abdominal discomfort; helping reduce and rebalance histamine levels in your body.

For this anti-histamine juice recipe, we use the following ingredients:

  • Carrots – antioxidants, supports colon health
  • Red beets – high in betalains, providing anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and detoxification support (great for the liver, phase two detoxification)
  • Apples – high in quercetin -> an effective antihistamine
  • Watercress – inhibits histamines released from mast cells
  • Turmeric – powerful anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as inhibits mast cell activation
  • Ginger – mast cell stabiliser
  • Lemon (optional) – lemons are a histamine liberator

Ingredients:
  • 4 big carrots
  • 2 big raw beetroots
  • 2 small-medium apples
  • a handful of watercress
  • a piece of turmeric
  • a slice of ginger
  • 1/2 lemon (optional) with the rind off
Method:
  • Wash and prepare all the ingredients according to the specs of your juicer
  • Juice all ingredients and enjoy!
